We encourage students from all across the University to join us in building SciCentr and expanding SciFair programs. Each team of undergraduates includes individuals with a broad range of talents, backgrounds, and interests. Opportunities include volunteering, paid mentoring of SciFair teams, design, content development, and more.

Most students are trained at the beginning of the Fall semester each year. Others come on board as needed. A small crew join us each summer to coordinate summer programs and develop new content.

How to apply:

If you are interested in working with us, send us a note and we will put you on an email list for announcements. When you apply, please include a cover letter and resume, featuring your experience with youth, with computers, with science, and/or any other special talents and interests you might have.

SciCentr has a variety of employment opportunities available to Cornell students. Below you’ll find a list of the positions that are currently available. This list is updated several times a year. Jobs will generally be posted on this site and the CU student employment listing. If you are interested in becoming involved with CTC, even if a position is not currently available, contact us at any time.
